Alison M. Ng, MS
Alison Ng joined Philliber Research and Evaluation in 2019. She holds an MS in Public Policy from NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and a BA in International Relations from SUNY New Paltz. She has experience with applied data analytics for social science and advanced quantitative analysis. One of her continued goals has been to use sound evaluation and data analysis practices to improve public service delivery, organization, and policy. Before joining Philliber, Alison was an English Language Teacher and AmeriCorps member working to increase literacy for refugee families. She also led a support and outreach program for military families and has a variety of experience working with teens.
At Philliber, Alison is focusing her work on projects related to education including after school programs and youth sports. She conducts literature reviews, cleans large databases, and works closely with program staff to develop comprehensive reports. Alison is able to complete complex data analysis in STATA and Excel, create data visualizations, provide effective project management oversight, develop data collection strategies, and complete qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
