Evaluation - The National Center for Family Literacy
The National Center for Family Literacy tested the efficacy of the PACE model in the Toyota Families for Learning Program. Over 300 parents and their children participated in the program during the 1993 school year. Philliber Research and Evaluation analyzed the data from the program to conclude that adults made greater gains in literacy than adults in adult-only focused programs and children made greater gains in child development than children in child-only focused programs.
